Hello,welcome readers.
We are currently participating in the
IYOR coral reef blog: save the marine. We hope that through this blog, people can know more about marine life and creatures.
In addition,we hope that everyone can put in an effort to help in saving these creatures in the sea. They are also children of mother nature.
We are
save-nemo and our group consists of Elswyth, Jolene, Pei Qin.Thank you every much.((:
as time flies
What would we do when we see oil spills and rubbish polluting our beautiful ocean, causing death to many innocent marine creatures?
Would we stand there helplessly and watch, or would we stand up and defend our beautiful blue ocean?
Please continue to save the marine life and the corals ;DD fish are not food, they are friends ;) [From finding nemo]
Marine creatures are important in our eco-system. So, let’s play our part and not destroy/pollute their homes. Harming these marine creatures is also harming ourselves. Plus, what would we gain from destroying them?
Protecting them would allow our future generations to what life under the waters are like up close and personal if they do happen to dive. The following are pictures I found on the internet:
a diver picking up litter on the seabed

oil spill from a boat

These are just some things that would harm/ kill marine life and coral reefs. There are still many factors that would destroy them. For example, global warming would cause the temperature of the ocean to rise. This would result in corals dying as they are unable to live in that certain temperature of water. increase of 1 degree Celsius in the ocean might not seem like such a big difference to you.But for corals, the subtle change in temperature might take life away from them.
hoped that this post has alerted you about what mankind is doing about the environment.
Love,
Jolene
[psst... we would like to thank underwater world and IYOR for their conservation efforts]
