other creatures of the sea

I guess you maybe spooked out by elswyth [well, i was]
to tell you the truth, this post was suppose to be the 10 friendly creatures. But i have decided won't it be more fun to have weird creatures on this post? So yes, you have heard mecorrect, im going to post about weird creatures of the sea ;DD

Angler Fish
The Angler Fish has a fleshy growth from its head which gives off light.
This is to attract other fishes. And while the attracted fishes are being "entertain" by the light, the angler fish would take this chance to eat them [eek!]
the angler fish lives in deep water.

Blob Fish

Forgive me. I kept on laughing when i saw this picture. It keeps reminding me of squidward from spongebob square pants ;/
the blob fish lives in deep water. Due to it's density which is slightly lesser than water, it allows itself to float just above the sea floor. this causes the blob fish to swim without much energy. [Adapted from wikipedia]

Piglet Squid

As the piglet squid gets older, it's colour would become brighter. [isn't it cute looking?]
So, all we need now is a pooh, tiger and eeyore to complete this collection.

Umbrella Mouth Gulper Eel

The umbrella mouth gulper eel is also known as the pelican eel. The pelican eel is also found in the deep sea. This eel has a huge mouth, which is even larger than its body. Amazing! It has a long, whip-like tail for movement, and the end of the tail is luminous to attract prey.

So far did you realise that almost every marine creature that i have mentioned is a deep sea creature? It seems like all the weird looking fish are in the dark waters. Cool!

i have to go now and eat my brunch ;DD [later have chinese class] so stay tuned...
who knows? i maybe posting another post later in the day ;DD
continue to STC (save the corals -by elswyth) ;DD
